ABOUT AMMAR ALMAKKEE, MD

Dr. Ammar Almakkee is  nephrologist ( Kidney Doctor specialist), earned his medical degree from University of Damascus School of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Almakkee traveled to the USA in 1998 where he completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, affiliated with Cornel Medical Center in New York. He then practiced Internal Medicine for several years, then joined and completed Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship Program at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Almakkee is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine , he is also designated as specialist in Clinical Hypertension from American Society of Hypertension.

Dr. Almakkee enjoys spending quality time with his family, he likes swimming, tennis and table tennis.
